I've been watching cartoons these past few days and I can say that they're not bad after all. I'm already at the mid of my teenage years but I can still feel that I enjoy watching cartoons. Totally spies, Mr. Bean, American Dragon, Pokemon, Kim Possible to name a few. Call me a die hard Disney fan! I feel that they have pretty amazing and sensible plots. Most of all, the writers do have some kind of imagination!
So, are cartoons only for kids?

I wouldn't be concerned that you were watching cartoons at your age. I would just keep your total hours of TV watching to a reasonable amount. As long as you were doing other things kids your age should be enjoying.
I wish there was a channel for the cartoons I grew up with I would definitely watch.

wooo! i think cartoons are great! you can really learn a lot from them. and the possibilities are never ending! it can really broaden our imagination, unlike reality shows or other telenovelas. i don't know what's so immature in watching cartoons. is it just because kids watch it? well if that's the case, grown ups who think this way, they're the ones immature.

Nah,they're a good way to relax and have a few laughs.
I like the good old Looney Tunes best. Foghorn Legorn, Yosimite Sam, Bugs, Wyle E. Coyote. You could always count on seeing some neat stuff from ACME!
I also like Scooby Doo...mostly the older ones tho. And the Saturday morning show that they used to have on called the laff-a-lympics or something like that. It was the Yogi Yahooies vs the Scooby Doobies vs the Really Rottens. So funny! I don't think that the Really Rottens ever won, so it was fun guessing if it would be the Scoobies or the Yogi's!

I'm almost 32 years old and I still enjoy watching cartoons. Sometimes I watch them with the kids, sometimes I watch them by myself. LOL Just like any show I watch, whether is a cartoon or not, it has to catch my interest in order for me to want to watch it.
My husband, who is 40, also likes watching a good cartoon now and then. LOL

i dont think anybody's too old to be wathcing cartoons. im already in my mid 20's but i still do watch animated shows and movies. i still love watching justice league, batman, kim possible, looney tune shows, tom and jerry, and also anime` shows like gundam, samuri x, ghostfighter and others. i love watching animated movies from disney too. so i think a lot of grown ups also loves and would nevr give up cartoon shows. its not only me that enjoys them, my 6month old baby also watches cartoon shows with me. its like a bonding moment for us when we share and like these shows.

I think It does't matter how old is watching a cartoon like me I'm almost 35 yrs. of age but still love to watch Tom and Jerry, Sesame Street, Bugs Bunny etc. It gives me relaxing mood and exercise my lungs for laughing loud hehehe. That's why when they saw me watching, my 2 daughters says I'm acting like a child. An sometime I enjoy watching cartoons than other programs and only I can see is to much violence or some parental guidance for the children.

haha.. i think age doesn't matter when it comes to cartoon.. watching cartoon is just an interest right? why others should care about age when watching it? sometimes.. even old people need to relax.. need to have their own entertainment.. don't you think cartoon will make us laugh.. and make us healthier? do you see the effect of cartoons? i don't think cartoon is not suitable for old people.. in fact.. i think cartoon is very very suitable for them.. it helps to make them laugh.. and mayb make them healthier.. they have lesser worries then.. don't have to get involved in too much problems :)

I don't think so. They are just another form of entertainment. I know plenty of people that watch anime, and I my self still enjoy watching the older cartoons.

For me, I don't think cartoons are only for kids. I'm in my last year as a teen, but I still watch cartoons from time to time. I absolutely love Mr. Bean! I think that cartoons help us to unwind and just let go of the stressful real world for a bit. I also read somewhere that watching cartoons can increase your creativity; it develops your right brain (or left, I'm not sure, whichever hemisphere is assigned to the creativity department). My dad usually teases me when he sees me watching cartoons because he thinks it's only for kids, but I really love cartoons. We should always keep in touch with the kids in us or else we'll get lost in the world and it can be very depressing. :) I love Disney Channel!

I for one have never thought that we are ever to old to watch cartoons. My grandpa is 75 and he still watches cartoons almost everyday! lol I tend to like them sometimes more than my own shows. More simple.

You are never too old to watch. I enjoy the cartoon network. Ed Edd and Eddy is a great one.
