I agree with meditation it helps to reduce stress in my life and i will extend that to aromatherapy if you consider inhaling the potent aroma of cannabis aha. But yeah to destress you have to have things that are not tied up with your day to day struggle, so like a hobby an interest that exists outside your work. But in general i don't know i don't find myself stressed. How are you guys stressed?

I am terrible at managing stress. I end up holding it in and crying a lot. But, yoga, exercise, sleep, counseling, group therapy,talking.. see your doctor if you are interested in the medications. But, look also at natural herbal rememdies before you jump into an antidepressant or something as those can have serious side effects.

For a man like me who is 'workaholic', managing stress will be an edge (only if I am able to. :-))
I also love to sleep and replenish my nutrition to cope up with everyday activities. Just like what you said, exercise also plays a vital role in managing stress. It maximizes the recovery rate of the body during sleeping. in return, you will need less time in recovering for the next day/work.
Thanks hannah. :-)

There was a poster in our work area where you can bang your head when you are stress out, that's one way of how I manage stress. "Just bang your head here". It's not easy but you must know what's causing your stress and deal with it. Example, if you have problem with your boss perfume you can tell her in a nice way and you are done with it. Just remember also that you will not always be like this. This will pass away too. So you just hang on and do what ever is working for you.
