Sad Love Movies

It's an old one from the 1`930's - the original "GOODBYE MR. CHIPS" with Robert Donot paying the professor. It had a sweet and tragic love story and always made me cry -even tho I saw it a thousand times and knew what was coming! LOL!!

i would say that it's "SAM" .sean pean starred in it. if you have not seen it and you love this kind of movies then i urge you to watch it.i won't say what it is but watch it.

There's Mayerling, The English Patient,Romeo And Juliet (1969), Love Story,Sophie's Choice.

"A Walk to Remember", it was the saddest movie I've seen in a long time. I had my hubby watch it with me, I didn't tell him it was a sad love story, and when it got to the end, he goes, "you didn't tell me it was one of those tear jerkers!" But he loved it too. My daughter read the book before the movie was made and told me in advance it was a great love story.

I have seen quite a few sad movies and some that have reduced me to sobbing tears, but one that comes to mind was Beaches with Bette Midler this would have to be one that I really was a "blubbering mess" so to speak!

i'd have to say "the love story". that movie made me cry. there's also another one - "beaches" - which starred bette midler. it isn't a love story, though.

On top of my head, the saddest movie that made me cry is Glitter. I know, everyone thinks it is the worst movie ever but I love Glitter. I watched it twice in the cinema and both times also I cried. The saddest scene is when she found out that her boyfriend is killed. Then, when she sang Never Too Far, really emotional and touching. The final scene, when she reunited with her mom, was tears-inducing as well.
