I don't know much about google adsense. The only thing i know is that, it pays for the ads they paste in our site. I got a website in geocities, will that do the work? Cause i don't know how to get a website with my own domain. Is there any sites that give domains for free? If so, can you give names of such sites..

To own a site can be costly depends what kind of content to place on, the tools to use and whether you know how to construct a site. Hence, to start with free site or a blog would be the way to go at beginning. I would suggest you start a blog, once you got enough traffic you can always place a link to your own site later. I'm sure you can search tons free host provider from search engine.
