Did anyone else have trouble with weight loss after pregnancy?

My wife gave birth to our second child 11 month's ago and is having trouble losing all the weight. After our first child was born she had no trouble, but this time she is finding it quite difficult. She has tried several diets and exercise programs with no results. Has anyone else had this same trouble? What did you do to finially drop the weight?
