Any Lakers fans out there? I really love the Lakers, but their performance in the playoffs has been very disappointing. I keep asking myself, "What did they do with all of the great players they used to have?" It seems like it's just Kobe and a couple other decent players keeping them alive. I don't get to watch all of the games during the regular season since I stopped getting cable a few years ago. I sure hope they can turn it around before it's too late.

I am a Lakers fan, and I hate to see them lose. The problem with the Lakers is that their bench is so shallow that their opponents know who already will take the shot. Kobe will score 40-50 points but still, they can't or barely post a win in the playoffs. The same thing happened to MJ during his early days with the Bulls. Good thing the Bulls management rectified it by surrounding him with players like Pippen, Paxson, Kukoc etc...The Lakers need to surround Kobe with players who are tough, good and worthy role players. Players who can pick up the slack whenever Kobe's firing blanks (which rarely happens) or if he's in a tough spot. Kobe's human too (just like MJ before), he cant do it all by his lonesome. After all, basketball is a 5-man game.

I miss the franchise days of old when they had Magic, Kareem, Worthy and all the rest. They days when Shaq and Kobe were together were great too.
Now they have Kobe and Lamar, and Luke Walton. Hopefully they will get their act together during the off season and get a couple more scorers.
They are in a tough situation though because they are so far down in the draft order that they don't get decent picks. What makes matters worse is that they are way over the Salary cap so it is extremely hard for them to sign free agents and initiate trades.

i also love so much the lakers, but i don't know who must be blamed by this problem. their performance is not in the top form, but there are many great players. i think lakers must be intropect their self. may it can be begin from the internal officers, the official team, the coach, the players, and the last but not least is the relationship between them.
