WOW that was a bit of a bummer. I wanted PHIL to be OK. He's such a nice guy. I am betting we haven't heard the last from him. (besides the tour). I was expecting Chris to go. Nice also, just not the IDOL they are looking for. I am really going to miss Phil!.
So did you agree with tonights voting?

I was glad to see Chris go. I never really liked him. As for Phil, I was sorry to see him leave, but then we're at the point where I like everyone who's left and, hey, someone's got to go, right?
I wonder who will go next week. Will Jordin mess up again? Can Lakisha knock our socks off again? Will Blake surprise us with more of his unique singing? Will Melinda ever get over that shy girl shtick?
Same time, same bat channel.

I think that whatever happens from here on, these kids will all do okay. I think both LaKisha and Melinda have lost weight since the beginning of the show and they are both looking good. To me, Melinda's shyness only seems to be apparent when she is responding to the judges. In her dialogue with Ryan and even with the stars they bring on the show she seems fairly straight up and confident.
I don't know why I care. I am Canadian so I can't even vote. Maybe its just as well, because I would really have a hard time choosing from the 4 that are left.

Yeah Phil lives in my state Florida. So it is sad on that part I cried when Chris got took off. I really liked him. So now Blake is all alone. I hope he wins.

I didn't want Phil or Chris to go, but it didn't surprise me that they were the ones booted, what with the way the votes have been going the last couple of weeks. I swear, the moment that Ryan said Phil's name, I thought I could hear you screaming "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!" from here. LOL

I wasn't surprised to see Chris go. I didn't really think that he would last this long, because I find his voice kind of tinny. I think what has kept him in is that so many young women think that he looks like Justin Timberlake. Why that's a big plus I am not sure. Justin is okay, but not my idea of a real hunk.
I liked Blake right from the start and picked him to be the last guy standing. I also picked LaKisha for the female side, but even though I think she has a fantastice voice, I have really come to like Melinda. She is extremely versatile and can seem to sing anything they give her.
I figured Jordin would be gone tonight, but looks like she got a reprieve.
I think Blake could go all the way. We'll see.

Well, if it would have been based solely on last night, I would have said Jordan should have went home. I did like Phil, but he just didn't have that star quality. Blake is my front runner, but I don't see him making it past all the "divas" that are left, sadly, beacuse none of them are unique at all, just kind of run-of-the-mill, like hundreds of others. Blake is unique and has various talents, he just seems to have that star quality.

I didn't like Blake in the beginning, well I mean I liked him personally just didn't care for his style of singing. But over the weeks he has sure grown on me and now I find myslef looking forward to hearing him each week.
There is much talk about this season being the worst one, that there is no front runner. I disagree, I think Melinda and Jordin are very much IDOL material. It's going to be an interesting few weeks ahead. We are now down to the final 4!! WOW
