Places everywhere are starting to ban public smoking. What do you reckon: good, bad, infringement on rights, etc?

i myself is a smoker and would like to quit smoking too. banning on public smoking will help me reduce my smoking habit at the same for everybodies sake. would you like to be the cause of somebodies life of being sick due to passive smokers? i guess not.

Well because I'm not a smoker,I think that's a good idea. I think that's more dangerous for the non-smokers to stay next to somebody who smokes..It's like they smoke twice than the smokers..and I believe that shouldn't happen. If you want to smoke..smoke for yourself, the others aren't obligated to smoke with you too...That's my opinion..

I think that they should change places to non smoking and smoking that way the smokers can still go in public and smoke without being treated like a second classed citizen. if some clubs were smoking and some non smoking then the people who dont like smoking dont have to go there..

I think it's good to ban public smoking, and I saw many places had set the smoking rooms, if you want to smoke, you can smoke in the rooms. So, others won't be harmed by you. Many data proved that smoking was harmful to peoples' health, so, you have your right to smoke, but you don't have right to harm others, right?
