I have had Dobermans for many many years and know people with them and not once have I heard anything bad about them. They dont have a mean bone in their body. But I suppose its how you bring them up. Unfortuntely they have been tagged.
My children give them hell, (crawling over and smothering them). They wouldnt hurt a flea. But if someone goes to hurt the children...Watch Out.
They are loveable, affectionate, loyal, smart and funny. In my opinion they are the best family dog because of their loyalty.

i don't know how an australian kelpie looks like but i am familiar with dobermans. they say that dobermans have a tendency to be fierce. i wonder whether you have found yours to be fierce. will there be a possiblity that a doberman can also be a dog so loyal to the master but fierce enough to those that it is no familiar with?

we always have a dog/dogs in the house. we love dogs. even the ordinary ones we had which are of no breed line are well taken care of. now, though, it seems that to ask for puppies from friends are not that easy anymore. so we buy them from breeders and pet shops.
the one we have right now is a terrier (but it is not the pure breed type). we are very happy to have her. for us, she is the world's most beautiful puppy. feeding this dog is not a problem, she eats almost any food we give her. her dog food though is the one formulated for puppies and she sees her veterinarian regularly.
as to what will be the best dog to have, it depends upon what you need the dog for. if you want a small one for a pet, there is a variety to choose from. there's a variety of poodles and they are all beautiful and cute. there are terriers and shitzus. see a veterinarian for he/she can guide you as to what dog is best for you.

We have one dog and we are planning to get another one. It's good to have dogs around the house as long as you take good care of them. They are cute and lovable. They also serve a guard dogs when you are out of the house. The problem is our dog love to bite and scatter things. So when you wake up there are lots of things scatter around the house. But it's ok as long as the dog is happy.

We have 8 dogs in the house right now. There are 6 puppies who are 6 weeks old and 2 adult dogs. They are all Siberian Huskies and they are my favorite breed of dogs. They require alot of patience as they are a very stubborn breed and will never be fully trained because of their desire to run. They are great escape artists but they are also wonderful with children. It is easy to feed them but right now we are feeding all of the puppies together and the we feed the adults together. Eventually, they will all eat at the same time. They are a naturally clean dog that doesn't require much bathing but we do have to keep brushing their coats so that it doesn't get matted. I love my Huskies!

Yep I Have dogs here in our house. Two dogs to be exact. They are Jenna and Angel. I don't know what breed are they, breeds are not important to me though. I love dogs ever since I was a child. They can make you feel good about things in life. Yes, they are very easy to feed. They eat all kinds of food and that's the good thing about my dogs, they don't choose a specific type of food. I take great care of them.

Hello! I have 2 dogs here both were basset hounds, actually I treat them as my own children. Whenever they got sick I always panic because I don't want to lose them. I am a strict master whenever they got naughty. And if ever I'm going to have my own place to live I'm going to adopt some other breeds. What a big family!

Yes ofcourse!!! I really really love dogs. We have 2 but they don't have breed. We bath them once or twice a week, feed them with dog foods and we give them vitamins. My dogs are not hard to feed especially when they are really hungry. =p Although they are only animals we have to take care of them and treat them like other people very well in return of what they do and for what they may do. =)
