what made you sleep?

sleeping - just fall asleep.

what are the things you do when you can't sleep?and what are the cause on why you can't sleep? sometimes,i find it very hard to sleep if i am thinking of someone(inlove!),if somethings bothering me,if i have problems,and if i do sleep on the afternoon.if i cant sleep,i sometimes find something to read.like books or magazine.or i watched tv..but the best thing that i do that made me sleep,is when my feet was under my bedsheet and rub on it until i fall asleep..(hehe!thats my ritual so that i can sleep!) how about you?what are the things you do when you really cant sleep?share it with us so that we will also do that if ever we cant sleep.

I read books or played gameboy while lying, I cant sleep when I'm thinking. But the best thing for me to have a quick sleep is to drink a glass of milk after that I will have a very nice and good sleep.

I work in a call center. I work from 3pm-12mn. I'll be at my apartment at around 030am (that if i am not rendering Overtime). Once home, the first thing I am going to do is turn on the lights. I put my things on the table and immediately change clothes. I feel already sleepy at around that time. Once I have changed clothes, I take a seat and started sending short messages to some of my friends working at around the same time too. After that, brushing my teeth and wash my face. I slip into my bed with the electric fan pointed/directed at me. You see, it is kinda hot even at night at our place. I take my cellphones and placed them under my pillow just to be sure, or for emergency reasons (really?? he he he). I don't have problems falling asleep though since I would be feeling very sleepy from work already. But if there are instances I can't fall asleep right away, what i do is playing games on my cellphones. Eventually you will get tired and fall asleep. That is pretty much my ritual every night, except of course on weekends.

hhmmm..your time schedule seem so tiring..you will really fall asleep at that time..good thing,you havent any problem on sleeping.

Its commn among humanbeings that some times they cant sleep properly. The reson for this is different. Some people have this problem due to diseases. Some times due to mental tension create sleepless night. While under this circumstance i used to listen melody songs or read some books. Music is a good medicine for this problem

Well i have a very hectic schedule and come home very late in the night and after having something to eat i immediately hit the scak! But sometimes it does happen that i cant sleep, in that case i usually turn on the television or play some computer games till i start to feel drowsy! Oh yeah according to popular belief a shower and a cup of hot milk really helps you have a good night sleep, just thought i would add this since we are discussing sleeping!!

yeah..it really helps..i do watch tv too if i really cant sleep..but it hurted my eyes so much..so i do read books instead of watching tv..

l trytophan an enzyme from warm milk are known for its sleeping effect. have a warm milk. avoid nap during daytime. never eat too much at bedtime.

i forgot to wrote in there,i do take warm milk.but our parents says that we need to take a nap..its part of a good health..isnt it?well thanks for the advice..

When I'm tired I fall asleep even during the day. If your mind is busy thinking of anything, you won't be able to sleep. If things keep on haunting your mind, a dose of honey mixed with milk before bedtime will keep you asleep.

if somethings bothering me,i really cant sleep..i dont know!but that's my hobby before i go to sleep..thinking..i do drink milk before i go to sleep,but without honey..i will try mixing honey on my milk next time..thanks!

When i don't get sleep, i use to see tv and read some books. Some problems will be going on in my mind which disturbs my sleep. I will thinking, how i could solve the problems and how much time it will take for me to solve it. In such situations, i use to read some good history and self confidence building books which helps me to find a solution for my problems. I use to feel relaxed and get good sleep

me too..the main reason why i cant sleep easily is when i am thinking if what will gonna happen tommorrow..but i will avoid that hobby,coz i dont want to have insomnia.

If you are having problem getting sleep, try this: If you hate maths, try doing some math excercise. I bet, you would soon sleep! Ditto, with any other subject. Also, try hot water bath before going to bed. It helps.

Well when I can't sleep I either watch something really boring on tv or just turn off the tv and all the lights alltogether. Here's a tip and it works for me: If you're laying in bed watching tv or reading a book with no intention of sleeping, you are confusing your body and therefore, it will be harder for you to fall asleep when you really do want to. Only lay in bed when you're ready to go sleep. Believe me, this works.

well. .there are many things that i can do if i can't sleep.. but i prefer to meditate.. meditating gives me some kind of relaxation.. that i think i can't feel it elsewhere.. i feel so quiet.. and so peaceful.. i also get to focus on what i want.. and i believe.. someday .. i'll be able to reach my dream.. and achieve the happiness i've been longing for.. hhaha...besides meditating... i will count sheeps and so on. .i heard it's very useful especially when you can't sleep for more than an hour.. is that true? i believe some of the mylotters have already tried that =)

haha!i already did that..counting sheep whatever!but my sheep will turn into a goat..uhhhh..thinking what does a sheep look like makes me dont want to sleep..

Well i usually have an insomnia my self. I was able to conquer it after realizing the reasons. Its all just because I am thinking so much, my brain won't stop thinking of something exciting to happens. Its just like I am so energetic with my mind and body. So after I realize that I just make sure at the end of the day my mind is at peace. Actually, my way these days is that to make my self very busy the whole day for work. Plus I do schedule my self daily for a sleep. In short, practicing your body for a daily system. Like You wake up at 6 in the morning then make sure to be at bed 10-11 in the evening. That way, you may be able to sleep easily at night. But of course, at the beginning it won't be easy, Just try to exhaust your self all out the day. In the process you could try doing an exercise or so if you still feel energetic at the night. It could also help your body be fit. =D I hope i make it all clear. Am really poor when it come to grammars.

Whenever i start reading some books i start feeling sleepy also. So if i dont get a sleep i start reading boo. It is like a pill for me. And i get a very nice sleep. HaHaHa......Try this..........

my brain does the "wont stop running in circles" thing too. i spend at least 1 hour every night trying to go to sleep..but thats after ive read a book for an hour or so. i cant listen to the radio, cause a song i like will come on and then i find myself humming along or mouthing the words. so i read and fidget and turn back and forth a lot. sometimes i will take a unisom, but i dont like taking those very often.

I dont have problems when it comes to sleeping. I dont have naps in the day and when I get home Im really so tired that I sleep in a snap. When I play badminton in the afternoon its the easiest way for me to go to sleep also.When the body is so tired you will have no problem in sleeping.

i don't know did i do when i can't sleep.Maybe i just try to close my eyes and try to clear my head from anything or planing.Sometime i can't sleep when i felt hungry at night, so i just take a bite of snack and drink plain water and try to sleep.So my conclusion is try to close your eyes and try to clear your mind from anything that disturb you.This is what i think.

I always exhaust myself before bedtime. It could either be walking the neighborhood at night, reading, net surfing. I also drink milk or chocolate. Then I take a bath or sponge myself wet to feel cool. When days are cool I bury myself under my sheet, my head buried on pillows. On hot days I just sleep on my stomach, my face on the pillows shutting everything out.

like now a days..it is getting hot here in the philippines..even at night..that's why i always take a bath before i go to sleep to freshen up!coz if i dont..wahhhhh!i will never get into sleep..thanks for the response!
