i think most probably your computer RAM having some hardware problem based on my experience. How long have you use the computer? i suggest you might want to upgrade your RAM or change your RAM to bigger size in order to let your computer run smoothly.

First off, welcome to myLot.
Freezing may be caused by two components of your computer trying to use the same memory address or because the programs have become corrupted.
Think back and try to remember when the freezing started and if it coincided with installing some software or hardware - that may have caused it.
Try to 'wind back' your pc to before that date with System Restore and if all works well try to re-install the software or component and see which one hangs the system.
To check a memory conflict go to Run type in msinfo32 enter select Conflicts/Sharing and check for components using the same memory address.
If it is the graphics card (often the case) re-install the card drivers.
If it is a program, remove the program, re-boot, then re-install the program.
It takes time to sort freezing problems.
