What book did you finish reading in just one day?

I read the book 'The Heiress' in just one day.. actually for about 6 hours straight. I think the author is, if i'm not mistaken, Julie Garwood or Jude Deveraux.. It was a really thick book and I was just so into it that I didn't want to put it down. I felt in love with it and so I was able to finish it right away ;) If I didn't have the time, it would probably take me a month to finish it, hehe..

I have finished a lot of books in just one sitting like The Stranger by Albert Camus, The Animal Farm by George Orwell, Memories of Midnight by Sidney Sheldon and other that i couldn't remember the title. When i'm so hooked w/ the book i couldn't put it down until i am finished. Those books are usually fast pace story and not so dragging. But there are certain times even i like the book much i felt lazy to read, i usually finish in 1 month and or not finishing it all, or i just read the ending.

Is Animal Farm any good? I read 1984, but haven't had the time to read it.

Yesterday I read "Mistral's Kiss" by Laurell K. Hamilton. Monday I read "Danse Macabre" by Laurell K. Hamilton. I find that I can read her books in one day as they are so interesting. THey range from 300 to 600 pages.

I am a fast reader and can finish all books for a day if they get my attention. And later to read them again, if they are really good ones:-)

I think it's five people you meet in heaven. I was very curious why everyone's talking about the book so I borrowed it and had to return it the next day. So I forced myself to finish it in one sitting, it was such a short story anyway. Most of the time I try to hold myself from reading to much because I forget about the things that I should do when I'm too engaged in reading, like taking a bath, dinner, nap even pee I have to hold!!!
