How Long Have you Been Using the Internet?

I have been using the Internet for the past 7 yrs. I use almost 4 hrs a day. Pop-up Blockers are really a boon to internet users.

i started using the net in july,1998. so it'll be 9 years this coming july.

I've been using the Internet for over 5 years now. Pop-ups definitely seem to be a thing of the past. Good thing too, because they drove me nuts! LOL I remember closing one pop-up window only to get another! Grr!

Same with me. I started with a dial up account. At that time broadband was never heard of by common people. It was only used by huge corporation and even that was not as fast as it is now. You are right. Many things have changed especially the level of interaction between people and the internet.

I only taught myself the computer about four years ago, and up until a few months ago I was relying on the freebie use of computers at the Library or go to an internet place---for me it was love at first sight with computers, and I now consider myself a computer geek...since I invested in a Mac computer, I don't really need to worry about viruses as Macs are at least supposed to be virus free....and even though I do have a processor that will allow me to use Windows applications...I don't...that's like opening up one's arms and say..Hey viruses come to me...LOL--

i have been using internet for last 8 years in begining i use to spent a very little time over the net but now time as changed beside keeping in touch with the friend and relatives internet is proving employment but its all depends on exposure and awareness. pop-up too use to disturd a lot few years back but not browser are impoved enought to tackel such problem of unwanted pop ups i remember one time when i experienced much problem i use to go to cyber cafe for net surfing and at that time charges were much higher. my most of the time get wasted in just closing the pop ups and many atimes system hangs up

i've been using internet for 4 years , and i really excited about that , i spend 5-8 hours everyday connect to the internet .chatting ,browsing , play online game, read email , and make extra money offer the internet.My life change when I met with internet.I had many new friend from chatting and friendships website like friendster,multiply, and mylot.I enjoy every little time when connect to the internet ,..connect to the internet like world just in my side, i can communicate and knew about something new. I never worried about worm and viruses , internet is jungle so i protected my computer with antivirus software.I install deep freeze to.

It is about 10 years for me. I once spent around $4 just for 1 hour on internet several years ago, when there are only modem link aviable for individuals. I still remember the time when I was waiting in front of my computer with a 64K modem.

i think i've been using the net for 10 years already.. and yeah you're right, it has evolved a lot! plus we can also earn money from the net, that's an added bonus haha ;)
