Do you have a morning ritual?

I do follow a routine every morning. I start up my day with a prayer to god to make the day pleasant.

MOnday thru Friday I have a ritual. I wake up, hit the shower. In there, I brush my teeth and shave. When I get out its the deoderant and then getting dressed. I usually make my tie in my sons room so that I can see him before I go. Then its off to traffic jams. During the weekend, I just get up, no shower or shaving, but I do brush my teeth. From there, I hit the TV and watch the fishing shows. Sometimes, I just wake up and go fishing. Here is a question for you. When you drive somewhere, do you take the same route all the time or do you alternate it???// let me know!!! take care

Get up- pee- brush teeth- wake up daughter- she jumps in shower- I make her lunch- pick up mess I forgot last night- help her with backpack and getting things around- she gets out- I hop in shower- start with hair- then wash body- then face, dry off, go upstairs – get dressed for work- brush hair- blow dry hair- yell at cat for trying to bite hair when blow drying- curl hair- help daughter pull her hair up- tell her to get a belt- move so she can brush her teeth- apply makeup- yell at cat for trying to bite my toes while on tip toes looking closely at mirror- head downstairs- grab all stuff—kiss sig. other- start car- go to daycare- drop off daughter- go to work! How is that for ritual!

I don't really have any morning rituals. More like the usual routine. I just do what I want to do when I get up. Which is (lol) pretty much the same meaningless stuffs.

yeah...i have a pretty strict morning ritual....the moment i get up i play on rock music in loud volme....n then my mom starts yelling at me....n then the next thing is to have a disagreement with my dad...which i love ...hehehhahahaa!!...then i proceed on like all other normal people:)

yep with out fail my morning starts off like this i get up straight to the loo.then its in the kitchen to put on the kettle while im waiting i have a smoke im grumpy till i have my first coffee then my day starts off

Although I don't have a certain rut, I do have things that I usually do in the mornings. I get up very early, around 4:30 am everyday to make my boyfriend breakfast and pack his lunch for the day, then I get on myLot and answer discussions from my friends and check my email accounts and my eBay account for winnings and items sold. Around lunch time I will get off the computer for a bit and take a shower and clean up myself, do several loads of laundry, clean the kitchen and then around 2:00 get back on the computer for a few more hours until 4:00 when I get off go make dinner and wait for my boyfriend to come home. That is the gest, although I do change up a bit by how long I stay on which website and what new place I have found to play on, but pretty much I am on the computer all day long with pauses of cleaning house in between.

Alarm goes off at 6:50 A.M. and I get up to rouse CJ. Then I head for coffee pot where it's waiting, already brewed, for my first cup of 4 for the day! Then I make CJ his breakfast and sit down for a few; usually watching T.V. and logging into computer. Then, about 7:40 I have CJ get dressed and brush teeth, put on shoes and wait for bus. Then, it's back to computer if I don't have to do anything else like clean house at moment.

I get up around 10 am, change the baby, feed the baby, sometimes log onto mylot while she plays with her toys a bit. Sometimes my hubby will get her when she wakes up and i can stay in bed a little longer, but she wont eat for him, so its not very long lol. sometimes she will nap in the morning, and sometimes she wont, when she does, sometimes i will even nap with her! I always have a chai tea in the morning, but i have yet to get into a boring nap with the babes around! lol she keeps me on my toes throughout the morning and day :)

what i usually do is to stay in bed for 5 more minutes then say a little prayer and kiss my husband :) then when i get up, i will immediately go to the comfort room and pee... then i'd go to the kitchen to check on what food i can cook for breakfast and prepare coffee for my husband.

I wouldn't say that I have a morning ritual. I do however have a set routine that I find works best on the days that I go to work. I have everything just such a way that I am able to get ready and out the door within an hour. On the days I don't go to work I am laid back and allow the day to just run its course.

Wake,,, reset alarm 2x's , get up, check email, check craigslist, coffee, shower, dress, small talk with wife,, out the door. make coffee at work, refill, sit down at desk, check email , check craigslist. Rinse repeat.
