Have you ever performed a random act of kindness or been the recipient of one? I've been on both ends and will continue to do random acts of kindness. It makes me feel good.

I have performed many random acts of kindness and have also been the recipient of them as well. I love helping people and I was taught that anything we did would be returned one thousand fold, and when we least expect it. This has been the case for me - when I least expected it, a very dear friend came forward and helped me out when I was in dire need - if it weren't for her, I'd have been in an awful pickle. She knows who she is...I just hope she realizes how much I love and value her as a friend.

I can't imagine where I'd be today if it wasn't for the kindness and generosity of my friends. Thanks for your response.

Yes to both...
Last year I found a wallet on the street going to my Mothers. When I got to my Mothers I looked inside and there was $500.00. The Drivers liscenes was from colorado, im in KS, and a local business card names did not match and a receipt from the Jones Store. I called that business card to is if they knew of the person on the drives liscenes. Luckly they did, said that was a new employee that had just recently moved. I gave them my number so that they could call her, since they couldnt give it to me. within 5 min she called. she had been to Jones Store to buy stuff for her new place... set her wallet on top of her car to load her pkgs in..rest is history..she offered me 100. I said no thank you, just pass the act of kindness to someone else.

I always knew you were pretty special, my friend, and I remember when that incident happened. I would have tried to locate the owner also. I know how I would have felt if that was my wallet. I've always believed in passing on acts of kindness and have loved the saying "random acts of kindness" since I first heard it.

Yes I have been both. It makes me feel good both way. I enjoy giving. The last thing that I have done for someone was something that they didn't know whom had done so. I sent them something as a secret admire. I love to do that. It is so much fun and I feel so good. I have this neighbor that I do stuff for her all the time and she doesn't know that I have done it. She is elderly and I'll take her trash can to the curb or will bring it back up. If I see a plant or tree that is in her yard I will give it water. I even from time to time will go over and take her a meal. We will sit and eat together and she is so excited to have someone to visit with. It brings me much joy and happiness to bring so much joy to someone with something so small like that. The best things for me to do are the small things. They seem much bigger and gives me more joy than if I was to give someone a million dollars. (I don't have that to give though LOL) Thanks for this discussion. It helped me remember the good times and memories. I might make her some lunch and take it to her tomorrow.

Very kind of you. I help my legally blind sister cross the street when I'm out with her. Thanks for your response.
