Afraid of the dark...this is not a horror story!

I am neither afraid nor unafraid of the dark -- well, it depends of I think could be there somewhere in the dark. There area lot of people who are afraid of the dark -- it is as if the dark symbolizes evil and harm which could fall on them. A lot of people could not easily ventured into a dark alley or a forest without somebody tagging along with them.
i am sure most of the members of myLot are afraid of the dark too. Am I right, my friend? In case you are not afraid, please raise your right hand and say HI.

I am definitely afraid of the darkness. I am especially afraid of it if I am all alone. There is alot of creepy sounds and you cannot see or hear anything around you. Alot of bad things happen in the dark because people and animals know you cannot see them. I am even afraid of the dark even if I have a flashlight. It will only shine so far but I am still afraid of the darkness.

Hi, tombiz. Yes, I am afraid of the dark, when I am feeling scared. Otherwise, I am not afraid. When my cousin passed away this year, I was so scared to sleep at night in the dark. I wanted my husband to be up so that I could get some rest. I was so scared.
I don't like to walk into any woods all by myself, I don't think that I could dare do something scary and creepy as this!

I have a fear of the dark that is a real problem. If its night time and the lights go off, i have a terrible panic attack and i start screaming as if someone is killing me. So bad it is, that i have a battery operated candle i can just flick on, (provided i can find it), by my bed. It doesnt matter if my husband is there.
