I had to share my coming,to Toronto story with everyone, who may need a good laugh this Thursday morning. Well, I start off in Sydney Nova Scotia, all seems well no warning of what is in store for later in the day but somehow i feel my stomach starting to get little queasy maybe it is the terrible airport coffee not sitting well. Finally they call us to board the smaller plane to take us to Halifax the first stop on our journey everything goes like clock work. I look up at the Heavens and shake my head and smirk yes I smirk, you were just messing with my head I knew it. Oh Cheryl why? This starts a domino effect of events you cannot imagine lol.
We are called to board and I do notice a lot of mothers and their children and strollers are called to board early. I say under my breath please let me be seated around a nice quiet baby ( no offense meant to all the mothers of Mylot)finally they ask my row of seats to board yep 15 A never to be forgotten.I get seated next to a very nice lady from Orlando. In front to nice gentle men from the Western Provinces of Canada, and behind us two gentlemen from Montreal. Now you might be wondering how we all got to know each other so well you will shortly see why.Across from us a lovely child by the name of Chloe and her Mom. Chloe is the key to the story. So here we are 8 strangers on a plane heading for Toronto. Suddenly in front of us the poor gentle man has something dripping onto his head just a slow drip (did i mention he is hair challenged?)So our wonderful steward get napkins and masking tape I kid you not and tape it over the drip because we are ready to take off. Of course the drip gets worse we all get splashed by the unknown substance.People are beginning to stare at the passengers under the blankets I'm sure they think we are building a fort. suddenly behind us i hear a yell its in my eyes of course the steward doesn't know what the liquid could be. we have told him it look like a white liquid milk perhaps? everyone says they didn't store milk in the storage bins. So we are kinda of worry about being covered in something . and of course this guys eyes.So we open the final bin the one with my luggage in it you might know. and the it is a breast pump. But that on it's own is no biggie. but in this blue Thermos thingy that is now empty was once over two liters of breast. Apparently Chloe's mom had forgotten it was there. My carry was soaked my shirt was soaked all of us we soaked lol. Needless to say Chloe's mom was mortified and felt awful, but hey life happens and we all just laughed what could you do really? so we were all given our meals free all drinks (hard and soft) and a bottle of champagne for us to share for the ordeal lol. it was a plane trip to remember. And at the airport we got tee shirt and sweat shirts and new bags for carrying our stuff so it was all in all a great day. and we made friends.

That is so funny. I'm glad no one made it into a big deal, though. It would be very embarrassing for the mom anyway. At least you guys figured out that it was something safe that you had splashing down on you. :) Still not the most pleasant thing to be covered in, but much better than some of the things that you guys might have been thinking about?

Cheryl what a funny story! I would feel so bad if I was Chloe's mom too. Well at least all of you got some freebies out of the ordeal right? LOL!
