To add on :
1) Cinnamon has a soothing action on the digestive system, easing any cramps or spasms and also being of assistance in the treatment of diarrhea. In the treatment of the common cold and influenza, Cinnamon can be very useful. It is not only somewhat antimicrobial, but is also of assistance in convalescence.
2) Oats are in fact one of the best remedies for 'feeding' the nervous system, especially when under stress. It is thus a specific treatment, especially when under stress. It is thus a specific treatment for nervous debility and exhaustion, particularly when associated with depression. Oats act quite slowly but can be of real benefit in any weakness of the nervous system
3) Horseradish is a very stimulating plant. Taken internally, it directly stimulates the heart; used externally in the form of a plaster or poultice it will draw blood to the area and cause it to become reddened and hot. This latter effect can be of great benefit in the treatment of sore or stiff joints and arthritis

Since you only requested three plants or herbs and there are so many to choose from for a variety of ailments I will list those that have not yet been mentioned:
1) Dioscorea root (Asian Wild Yam, NOT SWEET POTATO FROM AMERICA)--for regulating the proper lack of or increase in Progesterone. Also good for cramps and irregularity to be taken ten days after the period starts till six days before the next for two months.
2) Clover Honey-- mixed with a teaspoon of cinnamon for the relief of nasal and chest congestion, with green tea it soothes a sore throat too.

3) Dried Bilberry root-- for strengthening the eye muscles and keeping the lenses clear from cataract growth.
