All you need to do is to learn hitting the seam hard to deck. Deck mean surface, pitch. It is how to release the ball. Seem should hit the deck, not other part of the ball. Once you learn how to hit the seam then you can always learn about variations, like for outswing point the seam towards slip (im assuming it for right hander batsman) and for inswing point the seam to legslip, fine leg. But most important thing always is hitting the seam.
