This is the latest mobile phone that I have. I bought this phone last December 24, 2006 as a gift from me for myself also. It has lots of features, such as 3G, Internet browsing, and more... It is one of the smallest 3G phones available, it's packed with powerful features including a discreet quality camera and always-on, high speed Internet. I also found a website that offers lots of ringtones, wallpapers, message alert tones, themes, etc. for this phone, and it is found at http://lasyk.net
I am posting this discussion for those users who also owns this mobile phone model so we can share some insights and ideas as well as useful information about this phone, not to mention some useful stuff for this phone such as ringtones, wallpapers, themes, and so on...

I too, own a K610i, and I'm very contented with the features. Aside from no zoom in camera mode and no radio, it's got almost everything.
I like to take pictures a lot, and lugging a digicam around (even the smallest ones) is quite a pain. With the SE K610i, it's just one push of a button and you have your shot.
Although I did experience a crash when my sister (who owns a nokia) sent me a picture. Had to go to the SE shop to have it re-programmed and the re-programming erased all my contacts. Good thing I saved a back-up in my computer.
Other than that, no problems at all. And the good thing is, friends say the phone looks cool. Not cheesy. :)

Hi there! Thank you for responding to this discussion. Since we both owned a SE k610i, i've got some questions... within 1 month after I purchased my phone, I experienced some problem with it, one is the output sound of the phone, I have to make it full (volume) so that I can hear it clearly...
DO YOU EXPERIENCED THE SAME KIND OF PROBLEM WITH YOUR PHONE?
On the other hand, I don't understand why you have to re-programmed your phone after receiving the picture that your sister sent to your phone? Does it contain a virus?

I guess it was a virus or maybe the pix from a Nokia was not compatible. I don't know.
As for the volume. Have you tried adjusting it throught the two buttons at the upper right side of the phone (volume button). or, you might have it programmed at "increasing ring" at the menu/settings?
I would also like to suggest that you visit the sony ericsson homepage, register your phone and log-in. You'll get lots of freebies. I just recently installed Face Warp and World Time.
The Face Warp is a cool software. Take a pix of your friend and alter it using this software. hahahaha! you'll get lots of funny options.
