We might marvel at the progress made in every field of study, but the methods of testing aperson's knowledge and ability remain as primitive as ever ther were .Ii really is extraordinary that after all these rears, educationists have still failed to device anything more efficient and reliable that examinations. For all the pious claim that examinations test what you know,it is common knowledge that they more often do the exact opposite.

Doubt it's going to be changing anytime soon though, because examinations as non-constructive as they are, it is the easiest method to use. The major problem though is that it says absolutely nothing about how well you actually know something. You could score high as a strike of luck, you could simply remember stuff easily or you could actually know the selected stuff for the examination well. But none of them really show you knew all what you had to study well.
Asides from that with certain pressure during an examination and formulations you can get a different performance than you would have in a real situation about the matter.
