When was the last time you laughed so much you cried and kept getting the giggles for the rest of the day -that's me today! Bit gross too, if you have a tickly tummy stop now, lol.
I've seriously embarrassed myself! Newty-dog and I were going to the beach, I had a quick word with my pal and Showgun was working on a chalet. He called to us so I climbed the very steep, grassy 20 foot embankment in my flip-flops slipping and trying to hold Newty and my jeans up, Showgun was laughing "loosing your jeans Rain, does it matter, hahaha," I said it might scare someone. At this point I was a bit embarrassed but of course worse was to follow!
I just was wondering how to get Newty up the 3 foot wall when she tugged me and I fell on my bum with my legs out like a doll, "Oh Rain," He comes to help me up all concerned.
My pal shouts and laughs from over the road "trust you to see," I call down to her,
"Ooh owooow, Rain," Showgun cringes as he backs away a bit quickly "Did Noo just do that?" yes Noo had stood behind us and sneakily gone toilet. I had landed in it and my jeans were covered.
I get bags out to scrap up her mess. My pal has gone to work now so I have nowhere to run for a quick change and of course I'm not wearing undies either. Shogun keeps saying "leave it, just go get cleaned up," and offering to sort it out for me, but I have to scrape what I can up as I don't want him to stand in it.
I stumble back down the slope, put a plastic bag on the car seat and come home, jeans and car seat cover in the washer, me in the shower, few minutes late for playschool pick-up, what a morning, what a laugh. I've know him all my life and he's spent most of it finding me amusing.
Have you done something really embarrassing recently that you'd like to share with everyone?

Lol rainbow, I'm glad that funny things do happen to other people too. My most recent embarrassing moment was when I wore my blouse inside out and went about teaching without realising it until one of my students pointed it out!! I don't know how red my face was but I could feel it burning alright. Since then it was more accidents then embarrassing situations, lol. Take care and a big bear hug to you.

I wish I had seen this Rainbow, I love a good laugh!!LOL
Last summer there was a 2 minute silence for the bombings in London. I was unaware of what time this was going to happen and during our lunch break at work we went to the shops.
I was in the chemist and I have a habit of yawning out loud, I don't even realise I am doing it to tell the truth.
Anyway, someone else was talking in the shop when I let out a really loud yawn. Thinking nothing of it I walked out the shop and it was the weirdest feeling ever.
Everyone was standing still and you could hear a pin drop.
I felt so embarrassed I wanted the ground to open up and swallow me.
I couldn't even say anything to my friend, so I walked off to hide my shame.
On this respectful day, I must admit after I did laugh to hide my embarrassment.

I think I was unaware of this too and was shopping with my children so there was a moment I remember everyone being still but not knowing why, several other mums were getting on with things too as it is difficult with little people who will not shhh. I found out why later and felt bad.

I find that story more embarrassing than funny. You poor dear. How amazing you are to be able to laugh at such a predicament...I'd have been mortified.
I remember an equally embarrasing time. My friend and I were chatting to some boys after school...I would have been about 13 probably. I sat on a fence and lost my balance falling backwards into some rose bushes with my legs going up int he air and my skirt rising so i was flashing everything. My mother didn't believe in skimpy/lacy knickers as was the fashion, instead it had to be a full brief...embarrassing enough but that day I was wearing what I called aggy daggle drawers...a gift from an elderly aunt. They had baggy legs that would have shown what I had for breakfast. And all this in front of a boy I was keen on. No-one said a word.
I've never forgotten it.

Bless you, that is truly awful! Amazingly no-one has said much about this either. I'm not amazing but sometimes if you don't see the funny side, it can be too upsetting. It was a case of laugh of cry but it's over now and I'm still managing to smile about it.
Rose bushes hurt - it's never funny to watch someone get hurt anyway, at least I was just embarrassed!

Atleast you can laugh about it, That is great attribute to be able to laugh at the incidents. The most embarrassing thing I've done lately was into the mens room at wal-mart instead of the ladies room. I stood there and wondered why the put urinals in the ladies room. Then realized I was in the wrong room. I hustled putta there pretty quickly.
