Promoting myLot

I've just recently joined here and must admit, I'm having a blast. I can't believe they'll pay me for it. Since there is a referral program, I've started promoting my link. I'd love to hear any ways you've tried promoting myLot and how the results have been for you.

Do you have a myspace account, or friendster, ect? My way of getting referrals is from myspace.com. I have my own account on their, and many friends so I tell them all about this site. I have gotten 12 referrals since I signed up from there.

There are other sites like this as well.

I don't have a myspace account yet and hadn't heard of friendster but I am working on setting up a Squidoo lens for the various paid-to-write and paid-to-post programs that I find. I've been thinking about setting up a myspace profile but my kids keep laughing at me...kinda made me get cold feet...lol.

I haven't started doing any of that kind yet, but I will probably start doing so as well. Through my blog it will be then, I don't really like referring people in any other way.

Using your blog is a great idea. If you already have an established readership, you should get quite a few referrals that way. I am thinking of adding paid writing type of programs to my survey site (in development) and blog. My thought was to start similar discussions there and then link to the discussion here. I have to check the rules to be sure it's allowed but I'm sure it would increase my referral rate.
