Petsitters, help me!

My fiance and I are getting married soon and will be going to Jamica for a week for our honeymoon. We've been trying to find a petsitter because we really have too much for neighbors to handle! I interviewed one lady today. She seemed very sweet and I can tell she loves pets. But she doesn't really have any experience with saltwater aquariums or larger birds, she has a 3 yr old daughter that she brings on jobs with her sometimes and we're all nervous about such a young child accidently being bitten by one of the cockatoos, and she thinks that the timing is going to conflict with her schedule. In short, I doubt she's going to work out.
Anyone here a petsitter, know a petsitter in Central Texas, or a good website to search? Anything?

Try placing an add in the local newspaper, or check out the yellow pages of your phonebook. There has to be a petsitter in your area. Ask around, and even check with your local petstores. They sometimes have bulletin boards where adds can be placed for local businesses or services. If nothing is on the board, ask store employees or talk to the manager. If that doesn't work, try asking your local vet.

Thanks for the ideas! I've found a few sitters in my area on the net so far. The first lady I interviewed isn't going to work out for us. The second I talked to I'm very hopeful about but have not interviewed yet. One local guy who emailed me was actually very creepy and sent up waaay too many red flags for me to even give him an interview! And I just started feeling out another lady who emailed me today.
My next step was going to be visiting local pet hot spots like vet offices and such to see if they have any contacts. I know I've seen petsitting business cards at some of these places.
I'm sure someone will work out for us!

Where about are you? I lived in Texas almost all my life (except for the last year) and I have MANY friends there that are experienced with animals. I was an animal trainer at Sea World so I know many people there that work with salt water aquariums and we work quite a few birds as well. I'm also a vet tech and know a few people from there.
