importance of looking good!!!!!!!!!!

before the world finds out how beautiful you are from within....they get a good look at your outside!the 'face' you present to the world ,your entire persona ..your body language...everything goes a long way in making'YOU'.
and the better you look ,the better it is for you when facing the big bad world!
whether you walk up to hotel concierge,go shoe-shopping or are placing an order at a crowded bar..if you are looking good ,others will pay you more attention or atleast you have the benefit of being noticed first.
what is your take on this?do you feel good looks give you an edge over others in today's competitive world?

I think confidence looks best on people. If you have a person all dressed up in expensive clothes but they are not confident they look silly, if you see someone dressed like a bum and they walk with purpose seem alert and exude confidence you will notice that over their clothing! Good looks may get you more attention but it doesn't do anything to preserve or justify the attention you get. So i agree it could help you get the edge on people.. maybe help you get your foot in the door so to speak but it is not lasting.. what do you do to stick out in a world of beautiful and accessorized people? I don't think the answer is more beauty or accessories rather what is required is a beauty of a different kind, and i think that kind of beauty (non-material/physical) is the best to strive for and it will always win for you

confidence can be a tricky thing if you're in shabby clothes. once can go overboard by over-compensating for what he/she lacks physically. i'd say looking clean and pleasant, and not necessarily glamouroso can work in one's favor. Most times too, when you're physically set, with the right outfit, make-up and outlook, gives you the confidence to face the world.

obviously. putting oneself together in the most visually appetizing way matters wherever, whenever, in whatever situation. whether it be in ones professional, social or personal endeavors and strivings, it is first and foremost, the physical appearance that one has to critically attend to if you want to have the edge. sadly, it doesn't have to be within one's liking though, most people objects to this common notion. but it's just the fact that, generally the world is partial to pleasant if not good-looking men or women at the initial stage at least. the rest of the package though can make or break you. so it'll be doubly nice if you have what it takes inside-out to succeed in your particular aspirations.

i was referring to the actual beauty ..which has been provided to you by birth.
looking good as you say ....means you can always improve upon or work on your looks ..to groom a bit

In today world of full competion, to get noticed is the main priority of every individal, wheather its their business, student life, or any other thing.
for getting noticed it is most important to look good.
looking good means in literal sense getting up dressed smartly, and wearing a attractive smile on ur face and the confidence you carry, plays a very important role in building up the persona of every individual

it is true to say that goodlooking is necessary in today's world.your personality adds to your qualities.if you are weak in your studies but having a dynamic personality which can attract others then definately u have an edge over others.when people see u,they talk about u.once u become famous..............then its only u everywhere
