Well I think romance has gone out of the window and talk about fast food lol. I was asking my son, just for a joke as he is at that funny age lol( He is going to be 12 on the 1st June)if he were to ask a girl out what would be his chat up line. He looked at me and said. @mum don't you know?@ and I of course replied, no I haven't clue. He answered. @Look mum, you just go up to a girl and flash your mobile phone at her and say digits. That's all you do and they fall for you. Casanova here knows every thing lol, I thought to my self. I didn't quite understand what he meant by digits. He explained that he was asking for the girl's number lol. I mean, I know it is the age of fast food but forget a one liner, one word lol?

Aaaah, so that's where I've been going wrong! All this flattery and getting to know the girl first and all I had to do was to mention the one golden word! Phew! I don't know, I think I'm out of it or past it or both. The younger generatiion eh! No doubt he'll have all the girls flocking at his feet. Oh and wasn't it the little black book in my day ;0)

That is too funny. I had never heard this before. Kids these days are so much different than we were when we were growing up. They do and say so many things differently then we did. Alot of the words and sayings they use these days, I have never heard of and I do not know what alot of the terms mean. There is so many short words for the longer words we are used to hearing. There are alot of commercials being mafe with letter symbols also that stands for words like, LOL, for laugh out loud. It is the sing of the times, I guess, laugh out loud.

Pretty awesome, I must say. Just one word, seriously, I might have to learn a thing or two from him. Really I was alos confused when I first read "flshing the phone and saying digits" until I read what it really meant. Really he must be a casanova....
Its fast and furious or something like that... but quite fast and need a lot of confidence I think.
Any ways
Take Care
May GOD Bless YOU

I am glad I do not have kids at this stage, only adults, now. I would be flabbergasted, and feel so behind the times. Twelve can be a funny thing, and twelve is much older now than when I was twelve, if you know what I mean.

jokes apart, i just wonder at their level of IQ. they are , no doubt, ahead of their times. at their age we had no clue as to what and how it would work.

to retell that is pretty funny, but i'm not sure how the ladies would feel about that. personally, i'd feel like my self worth lowered a little that i was not worth more than a word and that he could capture my heart my simply asking for my number? but nonetheless, that was quite entertaining to read. i keep imagining this kid. LOL!

I belong to a generation of long ago already, LOL! Boys nowadays certainly have their own way of asking for a girl. Your son have a very unique approach though. To be honest, if I'm the girl, I wouldn't give out my mobile number freely. I'm such a snobbish bunny, LOL!
