'I am the type of person who can control my temper very well,I seldom throw the tantrum to somebody or being angry.I think there is nothing wrong if someone get angry easily, but i know it is not goo.You may have misunderstood somone and may affect the relationship with other people. If you lose your temper in front of a group of people, it may even make a bad impression to everyone. Also scientists state that it is not good for health if you always being angry. First of all we have to understand that anger is a secondary emotion. It's always preceeded by another emotion like fear, rejection, frustration, whatever. When I'm just about to get angry, I always ask myself: What is the primary emotion here. In my case it's usually fear - fear of other people, fear of circumstances, you name it. But the simple process of reflection already cools my temper, because I know what I really should be dealing with. But on the other hand: Doesn't it just feel GOOD to blow up?

True, once you know what is the cause of the anger, you can deal with it much better.

Uhm, Yeah I do get mad easily I Guess. Im not the kind of person that will throw a fit in public or anything. But say plans I had with someone get cancelled cuase they want to do something else.. I get really reallyyyyy mad for maybe 5 minutes, and once i realize that theres nothing i can do about it, I calm down. Or, whenever i get hurt for no reason (ex..Someones being stupid and accidentally hits me and it hurts) then i get really mad. I never actually throw huge tantrums when i do though.

I can be angry or upset very easily. Usually i try to control my emotions. If this is a group of people-i cope with it also easily.I dont care so much about the bad impression, just dont want to be vulnerable because of my bad self-control. But at home it`s not possible, because the stress is too much for me indeed:-(

Hi Easy, yes well I can control my temper as well, when I was younger I used to lose it more easily but over the years I have learnt to control it as I found that it did not get me any where and that is why my attitude changed and I am in control of my temper now. I have never lost my temper in front of many people as I would feel ashamed.

Hi,easy888! I just can say,I'm trying to control my temper.I know I'm an emotional person and sometimes even I myself don't know how to control my temper. But my parents tell me that I should learn how to control my temper because I'm not a teenager,I'm a mature adult. So that my behavior shouldn't be immature as a teenager's. Yes,I had lost my temper in front of my classmates.I couldn't stand the unefficient discussions between my classmates so that I shouted at them "Be silent, you're too noisy!!!" Well,I'm regret what I did after the class but at that moment,I didn't know why my annoyance broke out.

I used to lose my temper alot but as I've gotten a little older I've mellowed out more. It takes alot to make me mad now and then I have to go off by myself until I cool down. Venting helps too sometimes. LIVE IN PEACE

I am a soft spoken person and I seldom throw tantrum. I do get angry easily but I keep it to myself and don't usually show it by shouting or saying bad words. You can feel I am angry by the way I look and I look at you. I get angry by rude people, boastful person, and words said to you. If they say personal thing about me, I get angry. I get calm by hitting something and thinking of beautiful things. It's a bad feeling when I get angry and I say something that I will regret later. It's very important to control my anger. It's very destructive to me and other people involved. It's better to avoid it but sometime it's necessary and you can do nothing about it until you face it.

There are times that I'm able to control my temper. However there are also times that I just blew up out of anger. Well actually, I noticed that it really depends upon my mood. Mostly I prefer to control my anger and be patient because when I really get so much angry I just throw things that I may be able to get. I'm so much distractive whenever I got angry.

everything makes me angry, when everyone is happy, i'm angry.. don't know exactly why but i think it's because why should anyone be happy when there are billions of people around the world hungry. i've lost my temper in front of many people but i think i'm learning to control it now. i think i ruined their day. it felt good to get it out but regret will follow me forever after doing that.

Sometimes I can't control my temper when my son is involved. My wife and I usually fight over him. What do eat, What to drink, When to play. Some of the simple stuffs only. I seldom lose my temper in a group of people. I usually get angry when someone assumes something bad on me. I'm sorry if I can't share my story of angriness in your post because it is embarrassing for me. lol. Haha. I remember it now clearly. Thanks for a nice post friend! =)

no...honestly that's one of my problems. I have a hard time controlling my temper. I usually just shout or scold or simply cry. I cannot remember the events when I was so angry, what I remember most was that I was so angry that I hit the wall with my fists about 4 -5 times then I shouted like aaaarrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhh!!! then I cried for about 2 hours then I was ok. I was able to talk rationally with my husband. Then that was it. I think the most important thing is that you have to be able to vent your anger or else you might risk a heart attack

I don't remember the last time, I was ever unhappy or upset for anything. It would have to be within my youth that I lost control of my emotions. probably in my teen years. That's as far as I can remember when I was upset.. It's been too long. Everything that could've made me angry, I just laughed at!

I am not short tempered ,but I too have my off days when I can snap at someone. When I am angry ,I cut myself out from other people and try to calm down.It doesn't always show ,but it bothers me because I can't walk with an elastic smile when angry.Yes, I did get angry in a crowd ,but the reasons were very good almost everyone shared my sentiments.Taking a little quiet time helps me quell my anger.

I don't get angry easily - I do my best not to get angry at all, although it is very difficult for humans... When I was in the army, I was under a lot of pressure and lost my temper quite a lot, and infront of many people too... when one soldier did not obey a direct order, I yelled at him in front of a whole group of other sodiers. That occasion was one of the best incidents in my life, since it tought me the profits from controling my temper.

Have you been in the army? What do you think they train you to do there? Controling your temper is the last thing they train you - it is more obedience you are trained for, and you explode when you are not in a formal situation.
