Understanding people

Have you realized how difficult sometimes it is to understand why someone has done something? It's very difficult if you see it with your own eyes, but when you start to see life with someone's eyes, things start to get in shape. Have you got a story about understanding/not understading someone (maybe yourself)? Any comments on that?

Sometimes people are too blind to see things from anyone else's point of view other than their own. Sometimes hindsite is the only way they can clearly see what they have done, and sometimes they never will truly understand the impact their actions have had. I had a friend who said and did some mean things out of jealousy. She tried to turn others against me, but instead she turned people against herself because they knew that she was spreading lies. She only hurt herself, and lost one of the best friends she has ever had.

Also, it's not only hard to understand another person as is hard to understand our own actions sometimes, then. I agree with you. Sometimes we can get carried away and over-act on something. Thanks for the post, kelly!

You are right. My first reaction was to retaliate, and if I had not stopped to think about it, I probably would have done some things that I would have later regretted. Instead I decided to be the bigger person and not stoop to that level, but I could have done some nasty things out of anger if I had not taken the time to think about them rationally first.

people are different, and got different visions about the things, cause it, is difficult understand something, like, for example, when someone kill another for nothing, for the vision of the killer, he like to do it
