written for associate content??? And if so do you think this was a good experience for you?
Also do you know of any other sites like that????
Personally I really like that site because I think it is a way for someone who is thinking of starting a writing carreer to try that while not stopping their regular job, and a way to build confidence as a writer,
What do you think???

Yes, I've written for Associated Content but it's gone through quite a few changes since I was active there. I think it's improved, actually, and it is a good site for writers to "get their feet wet." Freelance writing definitely takes patience, commitment, and building up your name, so yeah, it's good not to quit one's day job when first starting out.
If you like, you can PM for other sites.

I really like Associated Content, and I would suggest that you try Gather.com. It works a little differently, but there are some really fine writers (including published authors who promote their books) on the site and some great writing groups. You get paid in points, which you can then cash in for Borders or Home Depot gift cards. A lot of folks also use Constant Content. Good luck with your writing.

I have heard from other's, that associate content is a good place to start. Work on it for awhile, and see what happens. You can search the internet, and most likely find some other sorces too. Or, try it on a free blog. Good luck sugar.

A similar site is Triond.com which gives writers monthly royalties (writers get to keep the copyright in Triond).
