I wonder why there are some words that actually do not suit their meanings. It's hard to explain but here are some examples of such words that don't make sense to me...EGG PLANT (There's no egg in that plant.), CORNED BEEF (There was no corn involved in that beef.), TETRA PACK (How come it only has few sides or more?), STRAW BERRY (There's no straw in that berry.), HOTDOG (Hey, no dogs killed here!)and many more. Can you giveme more examples of these silly words. ^^ Let's have fun!
