Who out there prefers LINUX over WINDOWS.

To all the computer guys,and that does include the ladies, out there lets discuss the advantages of running LINUX vs WINDOWS. I'm sure Windows has its place but what can you do on windows that you can not do on LINUX, minus some of the more exciting games, if you are into that.

Windows more user friendly compared with Linux
Linux more stable compared with windows, but you have to know how to use it, example those commands

As you said, there are a lot of commercial videogames and software designed for windows.
This is the only advantage of windows.
Linux is better for a lot of reasons:
Linux is free and virus free, there are a lot of open source software, you don't have to cope with file defragmentation, Linux is faster and more stable than windows.

i would always prefer linux. the reason is not only that linux is a freeware or thousands of oss has its capacity to run all your required applications , linux will always show you what are you doing with your os. you can interact with the os and even change it as your requirement. heres the main difference between linux and windows.
