Xbox repair...

I'll admit, I'd heard of all these stories of everybody's 360s needing repair but I thought it'd never happen to mine...finally about a week ago it quit reading discs and it was on its way to the repair center
just got it back today and am very happy...they sent me a replacement box and is much more quiet.
I'm wondering if anyone has had to get a replacement and had it break or stop working on them again? should i be tempted into this additional warranty they're offering me?

I had a launch 360 and didn't have any problems with it other than some occasional freezing. As I watched the 360's of my friends go down in flames, I wondered if it would happen to me! If I were you, I'd take the warranty. I sold my original 360 and got the Elite when it came out so I could take advantage of the warranty. I'd much rather pay 30 bucks for peace of mind than pay $150 to Microsoft if it breaks.
