have you read "purpose driven life"?

i have always wanted to read the book but i dont seem to have a copy.. now that i have one, i read the introduction which said that it would be better to read it with someone like your partner.. but the problem is, my husband went to somewhere far yesterday and i just planned to start reading it as soon as he arrives.. and only God knows when he will be back..but i really am not reading it without him..

My Wife and I started reading it in a small group. We completed the small group but ended up not finishing the book always saying we would do it later. Well that was a few years ago.
From what I remember, it was a good book and worth to read with you spouse.

What am I missing? Who wrote it and what is it all about? I love reading. Too may books... too little time...

I have The Purpose Driven Life book but haven't been able to read it. I started it many months ago but it just didn't capture my attention well enough. It was boring to me but maybe I was expecting too much from it to begin with. It's still sitting on my desk right now and I've been considering the idea of selling it on eBay. I'm not sure I will ever end up reading it.
