Meredith's Stepmom--Warning, don't read if you haven't seen tonight's show

Oh my gosh, I'm so upset that Meredith's stepmom died. Do you think she was faking her hiccups in order to bring Meredith and her dad together? Oh gosh, I'm just so sad!
And then why did Meredith's dad hit her? For some reason, I couldn't hear what he was saying to her. Did anyone understand it?
I know it's almost the season finale, but I just wish things would be okay for everyone for awhile. It's just all so sad!

No wonder Meredith is so screwed up, with a mother like she had and a weirdo father like that, who wouldnt be? It seemed like the only semi-normal parental figure in her life was Susan, so we will see how that goes. Personally I think they're killing too many people in Meredith's circle off too quickly, I mean thats 2 mothers in one season lol.
McDreamy was a McIdiot for not saying something to her father. Big boos for McDreamy.
