Boy locked by Dad - As his Dad was taking Drugs........ What worse can it be.

That is awful. I hate hearing about stories like this, and about children suffering. Selfish parents. I hope they get locked away for a long time. I am glad those poor kids had the courage to run away when the parents were gone. So sickening. :(

Some parents are cruel, and I do not know why. They need to learn to better parents.

That is totally dispicable. Why have children if you aren't going to take care of them. Hopefully the children will be put into a better home where they can grow up properly and not like caged animals. The parents have to be crazy, what would have happened to those poor kids if they had overdosed and never let them out of that cage....people can be so cruel and unthinking when pursueing their own pleasures.

It's mind boggling that a person has to pass a test to drive a car, but anyone can have a kid. I read this stuff all the time in the papers and I can't believe the extent of what some people would do to their own children. The abuse and neglect is unthinkable. I hope these kids are taken away, for good, from this family so they can be given a chance to grow up in a somewhat normal home with foster parents.

This incident reminds me of those stories you hear about in Psychology classes, like about Jeannie and the Wild Child of Aveyron. What really boggles my mind, however, is that I hear about this so much in the media on the news, online, from other people, that I cannot believe my odds that I have not endured anything like this. Really, I contemplate the odds of my being born into another life. I just hope these kids can overcome this trauma and become happy, smiling people later in their lives, and not let this childhood trauma eat away at their souls for the rest of their lives. "Deserve to live" is always a bit harsh. "Desperately need intensive counseling" seems more appropriate. And how better off would we be if we finally allowed each other to overcome shame and guilt, and talk about their problems? We can't do these things alone.

That is insane! I can't believe how many crazed parents are out there doing things like this to their own kids. It's so sad. I wish this would all stop. I just don't understand why someone could treat a child this way. WHy have kids if you are going to lock them up in a cage or beat them? Doesn't make sense. I hope these kids find happiness somewhere down the line. I hope they can find a family that will love and care for them. Probably something they never had.

I saw a report on this case on the Nancy Grace show last night this man also put one of those electric dog collars on the boy and zapped him often with it Just how low can one human go the bad thing is whilst all this waS HAPPENING THE MOTHER DID NOTHING so she is every bit as bad and they both need to be locked up and the key thrown awayBad thing is the children HAD BEEN TAKEN AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE BEFOR E AND GIVEN BACK !

I think some parents dont deserve to be parents in the first place. when it's that bad, take the kids away from that parent and put them in a loving clean home.

People make me ill! HOw on Gods green earth could someone do that to a child? Someone they created. Here I feel guilty when I yell at my kids from time to time. I just hope and pray that those boy will recover from this and will end up in a home where they are loved and treated the way that kids should be treated. I hope those parents go to jail and I also hope they stick then in a cell that is so small that they will be unavle to lay down. Sheesh people suck!

It sad to know that there are such parents who has no sense of responsibility.

I agree that these parents do need to be brutally punished. I look at my 3 beautiful children and I wonder how can anyone ever hurt a child.
