It's not your camera. It's them. What do they think of themselves? It's very unlikeable of them. If I were them I will be more than flattered . And if I do not want to I will Them in a nice way. There must be something or a reason behind it. And it is their right to refuse. But the dirty look! I can't deal with that! I do not like people like that. Looks like they are arrogant.

i think it's just a frame of mind. My daughter's are constantly taking pics with their cells.

I think people are still very uncomfortable with the idea of cellphone cameras, especially since we bring our cellphones into places where we wouldn't traditionally bring a camera. People see a cellphone and don't always know what we intend to to wit hthe image we capture, and that makes people uneasy. I know it would make me very uneasy to see someone take a picture of me with a cellphone camera. I will never own one.

Oh well they are just stupid i might say.I would never refuse anyone if someone wants to take my (proper)picture out of whatever camera they are using.If they refuses it feels little rude.But may be they thinks that cell phone cams are not good so their picture is not going to come out good.Whereas if you use your good camera they think Oh wow!we will look awesome.So may be this is the reason.
