Peak hour traffic

Luckily I travel ina direction opposite to the peak and so manage to reach my office in a relatively less amount of time (about 20 minutes). This is true in the evening too but traffic is a bit more and it takes me about between 30-45 minutes to reach home. It just suddenly feels that there are a lot more cars on the road now than there were 5 years back.
