It depends upon the nature of job you are doing! If you are doing any monotonous job without any change you are bopund to get bored easily and your efficiency may get hampered. Like a typist who is constantly involved in typing the letters where he is doing the job mechanically and by doing so he is getting bored too soon! Under such circumstances I feel its always better to relax for a while after every few hours so that one can recoup back! But in offices where people are working o the tables they are not always doing the work though they are on duty they get pretty god time while doing the work to relax their minds. Its all your mind set. You can learn enjoy your work and adopt the technique of relaxing while working on the table. For me I am a professional working o a Stud farm my work involves lot of physical and mental work which involves both table and field work. But since I enjoy my work I take out some time to relax my self by involving my collegues or people working around me in some funny conversation or with some jokes so that people working with me , together with me are feel relaxed! So I think the best way to get out of boredom in the offie is to start loving your work, as you know that ultimately its you who will have to finish the work. Nobody else is going to complete your work and so its always better to work willingly and with good mood instead of cribbing on it! This will definitely make you more efficient and will make you less demanding to have frequent breaks at your work place! Sounds too boring? Believe me it works!
