should i propose first?

I recently wanted to propose a girl but then something was stopping me. I asked a few friends, both male and female and they said that a girl usually expects a man to propose first. Do u think its right? Why cant a girl propose a guy too?

Maybe it is because part of the tradition that normally it is the guy who proposes first.. but I guess with the modern era now, I think there are women who proposes a guy now....

Yes they are right. Woman always wants that her man propose first. That is mainly because of their mental disability to incline. Ladies first is our attitude because of their physical incapability.

Hi I am also supporting deepti and would like to know why u used such a tewrm and a girl is no ways inferior. They are striong and our only support. remember without the help of a girl / women, we would have never been born.

See, i am a girl and I think you should take my word on this issue. Go and talk to her politely. Propose her, see girls are generally shy and even if she likes you she would want you to take a step first. Look, what can happen at the max is she would turn you down, that is it, but will that stop you from loving her , no, it should not. But imagine if you dont speak up and someone else comes in her ife then what? I think it is better to be a fool for five minutes than to be a fool for rest of your life. Loads of luck, just be yourself and talk it out.

Hi Deepti i fully agree to ur words. Infact its probably true too some extent, but i still have a question here. I had told her about my feelings and she said that she has always considered me as an elder brother. I am still in good relations and offcourse now as brother and sister. I didint want her to feel hurt. But after being turned down in the similar way by 12 women, I really dont know why i am turned down always. Thats areason to my lonliness and depression. I told u because i feel u r someone who can help me a lot. Somehow a trust has built up towards u my friend.

Hi, hollowheart, what your friends told you was totally right! Every girl is waiting for a man's propose. Ever girl wanna to be princess, and what a princess said is only "I do!" Girls never propose! So, if you want to have her, just told her, propose to her! You have courage to do that! I bet that's a great experience of you! All the best, my friend!

Of course it should be the man who will be proposing first and not the woman. I think that this is the proper way, this is where the gentleness of the guy is measured. A girl proposing for the guy sounds awkward for me.
