dutch treat?

in the early stages of a relationship i think it is important that the guy is able to pay. A lady needs to feel wanted and special, as the relationship develops it may be nice to offer to pay your way. However, to start with if he cant afford to pay for a meal, what else is he not going to be able to afford?

Funny question!!!! Yes and no for me. It depends on the guy, I am in a relationship now so we split who pays. If I were just dating then yes, I would want the guy to pay for me unless I wasn't feelin him and I could tell he was the type of guy that expectes something in return b/c he paid for a date, then I always put my money up so there will be foolishiness later on!!

I haven't been on a date in so long, I probably would have to say yes..but my thing is, if you invited me out, you will be paying for whatever it is we decide to do..if I insist we do something specfic, I am willing to pay for that..or if I really like the guy, I will offer to pay half...it can go either way for me..

If the guy asked me out on the date/dinner then yes i do expect him to pay for me. if IVE asked him out for dinner then I expect to pay for both of us.
