Last night I got the news my great Aunt died ,she had cancer of the throat and I believe of the lungs. How sad I became, of the way she had to go.The fact that she was my last link to my grandma. She was my Granny's sister, and was sooo much like my granny.I loved to talk to her, and I will miss our little talks we had over the phone.I just wished I could have knew her better, for my own sake and my Grandma's .

About a week ago, we learned that my husbands Father is dying from Cancer. The Doctors are saying he has about 2 weeks to live. He has cancer of the Liver, Lungs and brain. This is a very hard time for our family. We have been praying for him not to suffer.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My best friend had throat cancer, stage 4 in 2001. I was her primary caregiver and also, my husband. She made it and we celebrate every year...she is 58. Her whole like changed in so many ways. She suffers everyday yet loves life and is one of the most cherished kind in our world. You have a lot of wonderful memories of your great Aunt.....cheris them and share them with younger family members thru time. She lives on in your heart forever, you know. Blessings

i am really sorry to hear this lily. certain things ion life are most undesirable but happen, we cannot do anything but accept it no matter what. passing away of someone close and losing him/ her life is unbearable, yet we survive that. the ache and the fond memories never die but eventually we have to come in terms. we are helpless. take care friend. God bless.

I am so sorry for your loss. I feel your pain, more than you know. I lost my mother to bone cancer when I was 17. Next February will be 20 years since I lost her and I miss her just as much now as I did back then. Cancer is such a horrible disease and it seems like everyone in this world has been touched by it in one way or another. I just wish they could find a cure already - it's taking too many lives, much too soon. The only thing that gets me through my days without her is knowing that I will see her again one day. I have to believe that or I'll go crazy. I miss her so badly and sometimes I feel like I'm forgeting her which bothers me alot. I will keep you in my prayers and hope that you find some sort of peace and that you are able to reflect on the good times and the good life she did have. Pass on your memories of her to your loved ones so they can know her like you did. It helps. Take Care!

I'm so sorry to hear this, my heart goes out to you. It's always hard when a family member passes away. Especially when it brings back memories of a former member of your family passing. I wish you the best, try to keep your spirits up, take care, God bless.

It is sad to hear stories like this. The only assurance you can get from all of these is that you know that wherever she may be she is now at peace and her sufferings has already ended. I am also in the same situation right now since my mother is still fighting for her life against the bug C. We are just gambling everything just to buy some more time with her but eventually I do know that the disease will prevail sooner or later. I just pray that she be given a much more longer time with us.
