Stupid questions get stupid answers

Okay how many other people on here are tired of seeing those stupid questions? You know the ones I'm talking about. "do you want to kiss me?", "how many times do you brush your teeth?", "how many times do you take a bath?" etc. I certainly am. What good reason would anyone have to need to know how many times I brush my teeth or take a bath a day. Or weather I would kiss them, Yuck! I am sorry to any of my friends who have posted stuff like this, but I am just tired of the stupid questions. I am here to help others with my own opinion on certain matters or to discuss music, movies, and tv. Not to inform others how many times I take a bath or brush my teeth. Yes I know I could just ignore those posts and move on. 90 percent of the time I do but today I am just having a bad stressed out day dealing with some personal issues and am not in the mood to even deal with those stupid questions. So I have decided to start answering those stupid questions with stupid answers. LOL! Just kidding I will probably just ignore them like I usually do.
Well thanks for letting me vent. I feel much better!

Indeed, stupid posts deserve stupid answers. And a friend of mine, also a mylotian, agrees. These posts usually get deleted anyway but for the time that they are in the discussion list, they do take up precious space that could have been for more intelligible posts.

You are so right..usually they get deleted..but not too long ago I saw the most ridiculous post and believe it or not had a couple hundred responses.. I thought ..wow..do people really like that kind of stuff?+

I am sick of them too! LOL thats funny though. I think you should do it! And then tell me so I can go see! haha! That's great. There are too many stupid questions on here! Wish mylot could weed them out!!! It makes it harder to find the really good posts!

There was just a post about "to mylot girls,do you want to kiss me" and I did actually answer it. I can't remember what interest it is under but it was recent so you should be able to find it.

LOL! That's awesome, I'm going to go look for it! I saw another one awhile back that said "do you wish you looked like me" and i gave them a resounding NO in response. I am sure she (well the avatar was a girl, but who knows!) was not too pleased with that!

Yes, I'm also fed up with utterly boring discussions or discussion topics. One has to search through pages of discussions to try and find something interesting. It's as if people are scared to give an opinion on something that might be a bit controversial. The only solution is to ignore them or not to participate in them.

I think these discussions will be deleted by mylot soon enough. Don't bother wasting your time on them. Do something productive instead.

Many times I see these type of discussions that require a numeber or yes/no reply but I don't reply to these sort of discussions and just ignore them as it is much better vto ignore them as they might be get deleted by the myLot.Futher I also don't like these type of discussions as they are just for the sake of getting more and more responses as giving responses to these discussions is very easy.

I don't have the time to answer these thoughtless attempts at making a couple of cents here on mylot!
It is all that I can do just to keep up with the discussions that mean something!
ALong with the positive and negative rating system, there should be one that says STUPID...and we could alert mylot of them!
(ohhh, I hope that I haven't had any....crossing fingers!)
Oh, giving you and everyone here who posts a positive response!

they just want quick money, so do the people who respond to them, mylot frowns upon those short answer questions, so they might get deleted anyways

hi speedy, i can understand and could not agree more with you. at times stupid questions not only make me disgusted but also make me stupid aswell. i hardly answer to stupid stuff, like you have mentioned. i dodge it outright and with so many discusions and a good search engine i always get threads which cater to me. however, i donot have any opinion about such threads, i shouldnot be judgemental either but we should all try and make this place a better, substantial one.
i feel, as long as stupid discussions is there, sane, pertinent and thought provoking posts will also excel.

I am in total agreement with you they drive me to distraction however these folks are getting paid for it no matter haow stupid it may seem so I dont forsee an end to it any time soon!

Vent away. i think mylot is partly here for the venting and ranting.
i have to say, i agree with you. i am sick og the "do you want to kiss me" and "how many times a day do you brush your teeth" sort of conversations. If i am bored, i will answer them as something to do, but i don't think they have much relevance.

Venting on myLot is what alot of us do at times, my friend...it helps, and when others reinforce your feelings that also helps.....that is one of the things that I find so interesting about myLot....
Yes, to answer these "discussions" with a note to refer to the myLot rules and regulations regarding posting......BUT since I am no the "discussion police"....I have learned to ignore them as best I can.

I couldn't agree more stupid question are sprewed throughout mylot and it is a real pitty..I think people should ask themselve if they really would ask someone such a question if they were looking them eye to eye;)+

Hey I know the feeling when Im in a stressed mood I always find these riduculous discussions and I get so mad. Just a couple of days ago I saw some discussions and I did the same thing as you just did. So hey its good to vent because your getting it out how your feeling about the discussions. I usually ignore them too. But not when Im stressed.LOL I hope your feeling better.

I like the fact this was written two months ago and I bet if you look around myLot today you coulod probably write the sam ething over.
I think all this rubbish will always be here and I think we should constantly be reminded that this is not what myLot is all about.
We have all done it though at some point me included but some people just churn out this crap every single time.

There are days that I feel like I can't find anything to respond to. Thanks for venting. I feel better just reading it.

I have seen other posts by this mylotter and he is always the same, and he also has stolen a good discussion from a good friend of mine (about friendship between men and women, and its possible attraction connotations). I think actually this guy has no girlfriend or someone who cares for him in actual life, that is why he is obsesed with this kind of silly things. What really shocks me is why this kind of discussions get tons of answers while good ones get bad rattings... it is a shame, I know some people that become lazy and leave mylot because of that.
