That was Kirk that had all of the jobs on Gilmore Girls. Her had a mailman job, the red white and black movie theature, tried to take over for Ceaser when luke went out of town with his daughter. he also had a mailbox job, a realestate job where he showed houses to lorelias mom and dad. Kirk also had a dog walking job, ran kirk's he worked at Doses', he also did other odd jobs for talor ie falling out of a plane. Kirk also worked in the beauty store for a while and helped lor. pick out some stuff for rory when she first started college. kirk also instaled s security system for Lor. after rory went to college Kirk also tried to work at the dragonfly he tried to sell stuff dealing with tiles and bathroom supplies and hay shampoos and lotions

yes i know i made a mistake, i meant kirk sorry. ok i'll now mention a few more i remember. you got a lot of the harder ones i didn't think anyone would remember but here are some more. he also worked in the soda shoppe handing out the free hot chocolate one day. he worked in westons bakery shop. he volunteered a lot for taylor like you said for odd jobs but another one was running some of the carnivals in town. he manned a booth in town handing out the new maps of the new road names. he was miss patty's director in her one woman show buckle up on patty. he volunteered at the museum when the guy who passed away donated his house to be a stars hollow museum. and he also worked as a server/actor at the supper lor put on at the inn where they had to dress up in old time clothing.

This is a good question. I have watch this show for many years and I can only remember him being with Loralie working at the Inn and then working in Loralie's Inn. He is an anoying person but I can't think of him working in the market or the beauty store. I will be watching this question so I can see what I may have missed. I have some of the shows on dvd so maybe I can go back and see the episode that he is in working some where other than at the Inn.

he actually didn't really work at loralei's in. he was butting in where he didn't belong. suki thought lor had hired him and she didn't so they said you have to leave. he was trying to figure out exactly what he wanted to do so he ended up trying every position in lor's inn but was never actually hired or suposed to be there. although he did work as delivering wood for the inn once. i know so many more jobs but i'll give everyone else a chance first.

If anyone is interested Michel also worked at an trendy hotel while the Dragonfly was being renovated. The hotel had all their lobby employees (which seem to be all guys) wearing all black and all of them had headsets on. I remember him talking to Lorelai and saying that Celine Dion was in the lobby of the hotel.

Here are the ones that I remember that weren't mentioned.. He was a mailman with a walking route.. (who happened to dump his mailbag in Doose's Market and Dean and a couple of the townspeople jumped on the pile in order to claim their mail). He always worked at a mailboxes etc.. and was a notary there too. He ran "Kirks" when Luke's diner had to close down because Kirk had rammed Taylor's car through the diner window. He worked at the movie theater. I think one of his first jobs was working at Doose's market. Wasn't it Kirk that yelled at Miss Patty for sampling fruit in the market? And her response was "oh honey, I've been doing that for years." My favorite Kirk job was when he had the pedi-cab. He was giving Lorelai and Rory the first ride and they were getting passed by people walking. He sold t-shirts.. I remember Rory buying one after some event at Miss Patty's. They were black and printed on the shirt were ordinary things that happened around town. He sold beauty products.. to Lorelai at the inn. Then he had to come back and warn her not to use one of the products.

Kirk also worked in the video store, and as a wedding photogapher, and an entrepreneur.

Funny enough, the first time Kirk appears in the series, he introduces himself by a different name- I think it was Mitch or something. It's also funny that in an early episode, he doesn't know who Ms Patty is, but somewhere in season 5 or 6, she says he took dance classes from her when he was a kid. Ah, the inconsistencies!

I just saw one one of the early episodes when Emily orders DSL at Lorelai's house on Rory's first day at Chilton. The actor who plays Kirk introduces himself on Lorelai's porch as Nick. He sounded so young (and "un-Kirk-like" at that), compared to now... and he was so insignificant, that I never caught it until now! =P The writers probably thought that he did such a great job as the DSL man that they'd bring him back to do all the odd jobs around town. Hehehe...

I don't know if it was a "job" but he did star as Toffel in a kid's version of Fiddler on the Roof put on by one of Miss Patty's classes. And he played the female character in the annual re-enactment one year because whoever (Lulu?) was supposed to do it was sick.
