Since you were already infected with a brontok virus, I suggest that you download a free trial of Kaspersky or Symantec antivirus. These two are very effective in terms of detecting any viruses, worms, etc. After downloading any of the two softwares, make a full scan in safe mode. Quarantine whatever it finds. If still no success, I suggest that you try to visit www.bleepingcomputer.com In this website, you can contact one of the HJT experts there to help solve your problem and for assistance. Follow their instructions carefully so that you will be guided accordingly. Good luck! Have a nice day!

I agree with one of the posters, go to Trendmicro.com and let housecall scan your pc. It's free. Also, try Mcafee's Stinger. It's free though I don't know if Brontok is included the the virus patterns of Stinger.

You could probably use cwshredder which is a free utility which detects malwares and protect your homepage from being hijacked from malwares and viruses. It is a free and very useful utility for such purposes.

what antivirus you got?? well, if you're infected with brontok, then the best chances are to go to symantec and do a search for brontok in their virus database, there you will find some instructions to properly remove the virus from your system, i think it will work with any antivirus, the key is to use their security response tool to repair the access to the registry and that stuff, also i don't recommend you to do this if you don't know too much about computers, well, i'll try to copy the link to the instructions, cause i don't have enough post to just copy and paste. http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2005-101214-5554--99&tabid=3 hope its useful
