need help regarding paypal...

Verification of the PayPal account helps in enhancing the transaction amount limit. So, it is not necessary, if the amount is less ($100). Further, there is no need to have a credit or debit card (read this as given under "myLot" tab) in order to have PayPal account. These cards are useful in verification of PayPal account. You can not tranfer any money from India and add that amount to PayPal accout. It is simply not allowed (I have received this information from the PayPal executive). Changing name is not easy (ask me, huh!)and once it is changed to the name of the person whose credit card was used to verify the account, then the money would go to him and you have to bother him every now and then which he may not like. It may be better to tell what you want to do; a solution then may be sought. I just heard today that PayPal is going to start a PayPal centre in India. Let us wait for more details. It may solve most of the problems.

If you don't have credit card, you can't use paypal. It's not for you. Get a credit card if you want to use paypal.

I as well as many other users have explained the things over there regarding paypal.. I will suggest you that u should have a credit card -- if you are not having any .. or else u can take you mom/dad or any of your relatives credit card .. also change the name -- u stored in your my lot with the same name you will give to paypal for credit card..
