I honestly dont think that sachin should retire as I think he atleast has two more years in him ,maybe he is now notthe old aggressive guy but still he is one of the best even now so Ifuess we need to give him some time rather than criticising him for every failure ,afterall he is a human being. Or if he thinks that he cannot go more then I guess he got to quit.

of course, not. he still seems to be in elegant touch. i think he should be given the responsibility to bat at the top of the order. he can play his shots very well as well as some time to settle down. what is the hurry to retire.. i wish he could make hundred centuries in both the formats of the game...

There are a few things which Indians need to learn from the Australians. One ofcourse is how to play the game professionally and the other one is how to pack your bags gracefully. Glenn McGrath announced his retirement from international cricket before the world cup. He ended up being the highest wicket taker in this world cup and was crowned the Man of the the tournament. Did he not have enough cricket in him to continue for another two years? Same is the case with legends like Shane Warne, Steve Waugh and a lot of others. It is better that the you retire when your fans says "Why did he retire?" and not when they ask "When will he retire?"
