I am planing to buy a new T.V but unable to decide which one to go for. Plasma has its own pluses and minuses. But Lcd at present can suppport 1080p. (1920X1280). Since in our country we still dont have HDbroadcasts is it a viable option. I am Planing to get a PS3 soon. Even that requires 1080p. But picture wise which is better inclusive of the negative they have. And what would u suggest me. I would really appreciate ur feedbacks as well as suggestions

Don't go for HDTV now. India will take a year for setting up the HDbroadcasts. It is not a good choice for the present time. Go for the new TV in the block, the Time machine. It has a 80 GB inbuilt hard disk to pause live TV and record TV shows. It is viable to take this because it has all the latest things built in. This suggestion is best suited for Indians.
