I was once hurt by one of my colleagues who was jealousy of me holding an important position in my work and said rude words before me and at the back of me. I once wanted to try my revenge against him, still I gave up, for I believe in Karma. God is there to take of him. So I decide to ignore him and avoid meeting him as often as possible. The less often I see him, the better.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I have heard this before from my students who are now working in companies, but I work as a teacher in a high school and the same thing happened to me as well. Sometimes his existence really prevented me from doing my team work well whenever thinking of him. But luckily enough, he is now working in a different school though we are still on the same campus. Anyway, his choosing to work in a different school makes me feel much better and my job is smooth now without him there giving me face to look at. Thanks again for your reply!

Yea, when a guy came and took of with my girl, i really had it in for him. Especially because he was my friend until then and he made the girl hate me by telling lots of confidential things about me to her. Imagine the nerve of the guy!

Well actually I have a wide amount of limit to my anger ...!
But when somebody just crosses its limits I just go for a revenge but this happens very less cause if you went up for revenge then their will bo no difference between you and your enemy...!!
So just for the sake of maitaining that "difference" I try a lot to not to revenge..otherwise I can be really a BAD if I want to be..!! lol..!
But I am all full of patients,I do have a short temper but can control it easily...!
And yes I do belive in doing karma also so now I am really good at forgiving others..!!
But being a GOOD person is not that good at short run but it is good at long run of life...!
Cause people can actually take advantage of your goodness in short run of life..!

yeah..i have..lots of times but i realized that it would just mean that i let that person win me..win over my emotions and my ego..and i dont want that..
i dont want that person to feel that there's more to fight about..so i've come to a conclusion..the best revenge a person could do is to forgive..
i did and it felt sooo good..^_^

i guess looking back, i have often thought of taking revenge if someone has done something bad to me or has wronged me, but i dont think i have actually done so. to claim thus would be a lie i suppose, cos im no perfect person, but im pretty sure i did not grievously hurt anyone, at least in the physical sense.

Yes, I have. I never have taken revenge on anybody. They may hurt me but quite often they end up being the ones who are hurt, without any kind of revenge being taken on them.
I believe in turning the other cheek and putting bad things behind me, and starting afresh.
Brightest Blessings.

I have certainly fantasized about it, but never done it. I believe in Karma as well. Also, as someone else up ^ said, when you do get revenge, that other person has in a way won. They have managed to so get ur skin that you felt the need to do something in retaliation to them. I try to let stuff just roll off my back, envision the duck, lol! But that doesn't mean I haven't had daydreams about it either.

sometimes when i'm really hurt by that someone i would like to get back to them, but i don't..since it's not a good thing and i would feel bad afterwards. i probably don't have the guts to 'execute' my revenge anyway haha. sometimes we should just let bygones be bygones, although it's pretty hard at times .

I have never took revenge. Taking revenge is not required. Those who dig pits for others fall in their own pits. You need not think of harming them. God is there. He will take care of them.
