can u forgive a friend who did something wrong to u?

true friendship is one of the most beautiful things that many people wanted to have.however,like any other relationship,it could only be proven during times of trials.i for once,had done something very wrong to a good friend of mine.i cared for her so much that i was overdoing everything for her.i was overprotective,overcautious,and there were times that i become so worried i couldnt sleep and eat.i didnt realize that what i was doing was wrong and it affected her so much that it made her so furious at me.she even told me to go to h*ll.i was hurt so much.but then,i realized what a total jerk i became.i wasnt thinking about what she wants.i was only thinking about what i wanted for her.im very sorry for being so selfish.now,im just hoping that she will forgive me...

i never intended to hurt someone.if i have done someone anything wrong,i truly want to make amends.i think that its too much for a person who also makes mistakes to be unforgiving to others who have done them wrong.you dont know me well so dont jump into conclusions that your mind clouded with anger and sadness is creating.yet,im still asking for forgiveness.i would still be waiting,even if i had been casted away...

true friends are with us through thick and thin.
if ever they'll do something wrong,
the extent on how will we forgive them depends upon the intensity of the action done. But setting aside, teachings stress to us that we must forgive even our deepest enemies.
If you are a true friend, you will not hurt your friends.
Small mistakes can do but serious ones can be talked about.
As for me, it depends.
I only want true friends that I can keep forever.

thank u for the response.i agree with u.it really depends on the mistake that they did.but then,if we try to reflect on ourselves and realize that in any given situation,we could also commit the same mistake - human as we are,i think it would be enough for us to give those who have done us wrong,not just another chance,but as much chances as we could possibly offer.its not just only them do wrong to others but us as well.we have been given the chances that we asked and needed.so,its only proper to do the same "to those who have sinned against us"...

easier said than done, so it is always a wake-up call for me whenever i recite the prayer, Our Father ... "as we forgive those who sinned against us ..."

tnx for this.yes it is easier said than done.a lot of people can be so unforgiving.i just hope they do not make mistakes to others...i know its very difficult to forgive someone who have done you wrong.but everyone deserves not just a second chance,but as much chances as HE gave those who sinned against HIM...take care
