Do you love to collect mylot friends?

I guess I am more friendly than you, bunny. I love making friends and it doesn't matter who extends the request. I like collecting them so I file them away when I get them. Like for you, you are under the "C" tab. So when I need you, I will open the drawer and take out the whole chunk of spy reports starting with "C". That's how organised I am. You know, you need to be if you want to rule the world. :P

I can't say that I love to collect friends here but I do enjoy having alot of them here at Mylot. I have collected over 500 friends so far since January. I'm not usre how many of my friends are actually helping me on my discussions. I can hardly keep track of them. I have some pending friends requests also. They haven't accepted me yet. I request friendship to those members of whom I can relate to or need to correspond with. I accept all reqaests also. I just like to have alot of discussions to go through and respond to instead of going through the Mylot site in search of discussions. I'm not selfish and I will respond to any discussion that I can relate with. I am active with all of them. It doesn't bother me a whole lot when a friend doesn't respond to me because I know alot of us have alot of friends to respond to each day. I hope I am one of your 35 friends who responds to your discussions. I think I am, but I am not sure about it. I respond to alot of discussions each day and my mailbox is full of them.

I will always look in the Profile and see if I want to accept the Person and my one thing is their Discussions As to many are now just requesting for the sake of requesting When I apply to someone it is because I like what I see and because they responded well to a Discussion So I am very Choosy (blushing) But to many are joining now and requesting without any Discussions or Points to me all they want is to have a Friend list or all you see in their Discussions is about making Money so you know they will just PM you links so no thank you I have my Special Friends in my list to and you all know who you are and I will do anything for them as they are loving and caring Charms thank you for being my Friend xxxx

Hi, Charms. Like you I'm quite selective in choosing my friends. Before I request friendship, I have usually determined that I like the person and the topics he/she raised. I do try to respond to friends' discussions as much as I can. If somone requests for friendship, I try to look first into his profile before approving it.

If so then your more then welcome *smiles* and if not then I'm really sorry and I'll try harder *sighz*. To answer your question ... when I first came to mylot I was never really one for adding people. I started off with a ten star and have managed to keep it thank goodness so a lot of people were requesting to be my friend. At first I wasn't really picky because I was new and was desperate for the friends lol. Now when I get a request I still accept everyone because I have never been mean enough to reject people. I have deleted a few but that was because of their own spamming stupidity. I have no tolerance for that kind of crap. Yes at times...I'm just new here in myLot and i'm trying to collect friends and try to respond to all the discussions they have started...

Hello Charms, Such a sweet bunny thing to post! I'm happy to share my perspective on your informative and thoughtful post. Having 35 active friends is a real treasure!!! I learned a very powerful lesson just yesterday on how 'genuine' our cyberfriends can be! (wink, wink) If you have 35 folks who are committed to exchanging thoughts and ideas with you, faithfully ... then your are a very blessed bunny indeed! Now here's an interesting flip ... I tend to think it's selfish of me to limit my friend's list. I like to keep it small, and limited to those folks who I really enjoy interacting with. This way, I can truly dedicate the time to cultivate the cyber friendship. By doing so, I am probably missing out on some great people and their discussions, but I do not want to disappoint. So I do my part by not biting off more than I can chew. This way I can treat all of my friends attentively and respectfully. Oh, and as to your statement about not being friendly enough ... hahahaha ... rotfl Thanks for everything! -Ladyluna

I do add and request for friends here on mylot, but I do not expect each and everyone of them to respond to my posts. As I love responding more and often start my own discussions, so I still cannot say that I know most of their discussions. What I mostly do is, skip and look for other topics on which I know I give my very best thoughts. I just hope that they do have the same views as mine, in which they understand me too. The only thing that troubles me is, when my friends or members of which I responded to never puts a comment below my response. I like discussing and interacting more, that for me, is already a great reward to be appreciated by others..

hello charm. don't be dismayed if most of your friends are not responding regularly.maybe because they are busy with other things or some of them are busy answering posts than posting some issues.like me, i would rather respond than ask a question unless i have something that i would like to know.i do have friends in mylot who has gone their way or who have stopped for some reason i do not know.i am still here!

I do have many friends here and i want to have more friends here because it is much enjoyable if you have many friends and they can help also to increase your earnings.If you have many friends here its a nice feeling because friendship here do help each other and give some advices,share ideas and problems.

Wow you have 35 lol. I have over 400 on my friends list and they just come every day as I too don't like to refuse them I will one day respond to most of them because unfortunately I found a few that were actually cheating, how embarrassing was that lol? I hope I can be the thirty sixth friend on your loyalty list lol, as you have been a great support to me. I want to Mylot more but have to wait for my Parents to go to Greece because they moan if I am on the comp too much..

I like having friends too, but it doesn't matter to me how many I have. I rather have friends who I communicate with, then having them on my friends list, but never responding. I also like having just enough, to handle, so that I don't drown. I like to try and respond to my friends. Sometimes, I really don't have anything to contribute, so I don't. But usually there is something, I can always respond to. I am greatful for the friends I do have. It is nice to know, I have a place and people I can come too, and socialize with.

Charms that is such a nice question, no I do not collect friends if you have 30 people to whom you requested friendship it is good amount I have till date requested none, don't get me wrong here or judge me too fast. I will tell you why.... When I started mylotting at that time I found people particulary incensed about the fact that newbies like me kept requesting for friendship and that they were not sincere enough and the older mylotters were in dilemma as to should we accept or deny. SO I said to myself "Dea you are going to just answer people's threads and not ask for their pity or force people to accept you as their friend" also I felt why would anyone accept me as a friend, they know nothing about me and there is no history whatsoever to check back on to find out what kind of person I am. SO I have a list of favourites like you where I go and post answers regularly. Once I reach a 1000 then I can ask people for their Friendship Handshake and if they want to check out what kind of a person I am they have a 1000 post to my history to check out and then decide. Also I shall be a newbie no more requesting to be friends and then not replying to my friend's posts (which a lot of newbie's do). I also make it a point to reply to my friend's posts first, that is if I can answer a post in 4-7 lines in the least if I do not have even 3 lines of material it is quite worthless and in that case I would PM the friend rather than post a meaningless answer/thoughts. I find quite disgusting if I have to say something with "I don't know" or "me too......". So I just stay out of those threads. Also I do not respond to much of the religious and political questions as my answers are always going to get the board flamed.... so better not touch those topics at all, I would rather discuss them in private. I also do not deny any of the hands that extended asking for friendship ( I remember I was a newbie too) but I follow my friends responses etc I also watch if they respond to my discussions or not and how good they are in their own discussion threads....and if after sometime I find the friend to be a person who is just collecting people for their list I just drop them from my friends list and be done with it. Ya its true.. I have been hear for 3 days.. I got 24 friends.. But only little replies my discussions.. I don't know why.. But i am trying my best to respond my friends discussions.. You know why ... Am here not just for money.. For goods friends too. Because friends makes our life much happier..

I don't collect friends on my lot but I accept every connection that wants to be my friend. I do answer the discussions of all my friends, except if I really do not have anything to say.

i seldolmly send friend requests. i think i haven't send any in last 2 months still i don't consider myself little friendly!;)usually i send request only when i feel that the person is someone who is going to start such discussions on which i would be able to reply. but i noticed a while ago that 90% people on my friends' list have never replied to any of my posts! it feels bad especially when one tries its best to reply to theirs on a regular basis and they never do!:( i also noticed the ones who r active r those to whom i sent a request and not the ones who sent to me! i think usually people forgot that almost every relation is based on give and take concept..of course there's an unconditional status but it takes time and efforts to reach there!!

I don't collect friends. I usually approve anyone who asks, but I don't often request. I have enough to do keeping up with the ones I've got! I do like the friends aspect of this site, tho. Meeting some nice people, present poster included!

I have about half of the friends you have. Maybe 25% respond to my discussions. Another 10% don't post anything I can respond to. I always do my best with my friends to respond to their discussions. I think you my little bunny know this well. I have maybe requested 10 friends in my time here, all my other friends requested to be my friend. I do deny people that are spammers, and that's it. I'm not quite as popular a monkey as you are a bunny !!

well in my case yes i love collecting friends here in mylot. As of now, I think I have more than 500 friends but not all are actively participating in my discussion. I can remember one discussion of mine having the maximum response of 95 out of my 500+ friends. Not all really answers every discussion put up by his or her own friend. On the discussion, not all that answered my discussion are my friends, some are not. It really depends on the type of friends you have. Sometimes they just add you for the visibility of friends but not answer even a single word. After observing those facts here in mylot, whenever I receive a friend request, I make sure that the person is an active mylot user for future purposes. They answer my discussion, I answer theirs vice versa. It is only a matter of give and take relationship here. You earn and at the same time I earn also. It is a good way to promote friendship here also. X)

i really wanted to have friends on mylot but unfurtunately i dont have any.. im a new user here... would you be the one? and can you give me more friends? thanks a lot..
